Invitations to this casual and fun event are focused toward area agriculture producers and other leaders in our local economy. The evening will include a shared meal, brief program, and an auction to benefit Prairie Loft’s growth. Since 2007, more than 100,000 people have attended activities and events at Prairie Loft.

Funds raised at Steak & Ale will provide:

1. Scholarships for area youth

2. Site support for historic buildings

3. Teach people who and where their food comes from

We will further benefit the community and teach the next generation of leaders, teachers, and food producers.

Prairie Loft’s mission is to teach agriculture appreciation, outdoor education, cultural connections and the wise use of natural resources. We offer programs year-round sharing the importance of where our food comes from and how to be stewards of the land we are responsible for. Youth and adults in urban areas have little understanding of farming, even though it is fundamental to this region’s livelihood.

Through Prairie Loft’s programs, we aim to build bridges to make sure our community stays connected to our agricultural heritage.
