Prairie Loft has space available for meetings, activities, weddings, and other group events. If you are looking for a rustic space in an outdoor setting for your event, Prairie Loft may be the place!

RENTAL FEES

The basic fees for rental of Prairie Loft Center facilities in 2012 are below. These fees include a non-refundable $50 deposit. All fees subject to change. Fees include reasonable use of grounds. Please contact us for 2013 rates.


LOFT BARN (seats 30-250 people)

$650 for full day Friday-Sunday, $500 for full day Monday-Thursday

        includes additional 8 hours for setup/cleanup on adjacent days

        additional $100 per hour before 10am and after midnight

$400 for half day Friday-Sunday, $300 for half day Monday-Thursday

        additional $100 per hour in excess of five hours


PAVILION (seats 10-40 people)

$300 for full day (up to 8 hours)

        additional $100 per hour before 9am and after midnight

$100 for up to 3 hours

        additional $50 per extra hour

PLEASE NOTE: Our weekend facility rental calendar is FULL from May through October, 2012. Please contact us if you would like your name on a waiting list to be notified in case of weekend cancellations.

Weekday facility rental is still widely available this year.

Please review the facility use policies and information, then complete and return the rental agreement forms. We will contact you within two weeks of receiving your completed forms. The agreement and facility rental fee payment are due at least 30 days before your scheduled event unless other arrangements are made.

We encourage wise use of natural resources at Prairie Loft.

Here are some ideas to help you “green” your event!

  1. •Serve seasonal, local food

  2. •Find a trendy vintage bridal gown at a consignment or thrift store

  3. •Send invitations using paper with recycled content

  4. •Avoid disposable table settings and decor

  5. •Choose locally grown, seasonal flowers

  6. •Get creative with natural or recycled decorations

  7. •Encourage guests to carpool

  8. •Find a reception site that recycles

  9. •Register for gifts with environmentally responsible retailers

  10. •Borrow (and later return) friends’ holiday lights for festive lighting
